We are..

a group of Worcester businesses, non-profit organizations, and community leaders, that have come together to celebrate the history of innovation and creativity in Worcester. July 20th, 2019 is the 50th year anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, of which Worcester had many manufacturing and technological contributions. The Worcester On The Moon consortium wishes to highlight significant contributions made in Central Massachusetts that have led to the advancement of space exploration and technology worldwide.

Visit July 20th from 12 to 6 pm for art, tech, food, and history in celebration of the day. Asylum Popatorium and Whipped will be featuring space-themed food!

Individuals that successfully pass the 90-question, multiple-choice exam will receive a ServSafe Manager Certification. The ServSafe Manager Certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under the Conference for Food Protection Standards.

The $150 fee includes the ServSafe Manager Book 7th Edition, Full Day Course, and Exam. To register and receive the book to begin studying, email info@worcesterfoodhub.org or register online here.

You have either made the decision or are considering opening a food business.   Do you know what regulations you must adhere to in the food industry in Massachusetts? This workshop will take you beyond great recipes.

The Worcester Regional Food Hub Kitchen provides a variety of services for start-up and existing food entrepreneurs, including hourly kitchen rentals, technical assistance, workshops, and support. It is designed to bolster a robust regional food system. The Food Hub’s mission is to increase local food access and consumption and recruit, retain, and incubate local food entrepreneurs, collectively building healthy, sustainable, and just communities.

What rules and regulations do you need comply with in order to legally serve and sell your food?
In this workshop you will learn about resources, how to obtain your ServSafe Manager and Allergen Awareness certifications, getting products tested, writing standard operating procedures and other considerations and requirements such as inspections of your facility.
Learn what you need to know beyond your business plan.
