Worcester County ranks as the most agricultural county in Massachusetts, with some 1,560 farms, one-fifth of all the farms statewide.

The Food Hub works to get this food into the hands of the people that need it the most, by forming relationships with local farmers and distributing their food to schools, universities, health care facilities, markets, and restaurants.

“Going into organic farming in Vermont shaped my passion to be part of the food industry,” says Hinman. “My mission here is to support the local food economy.”
